Chosen Song

I have chosen to do a Marina & The Diamonds song called Simplify which is about how complicated the modern world is. Marina & The Diamonds is an indie/pop band and I think they will satisfy a wide audience. Her videos all demonstrate what is going on in the lyrics and have bright creative themes which I will take as a challenge to carry through in to my own video.
Lately I have realised

I sent to following email to her management asking for permission to use the song

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am an A Level student from Dartford Technology College, Kent. For my Advanced production project this year I have been asked to make a promotional music video and promo package. I am writing to ask permission to use ‘Simplify’ as my chosen track. I would love to use this song as I am a fan of Marina & The Diamonds and have enjoyed her blogs and music over the last year, I think the lyrics and the style of her music will give me a lot of creative freedom when making the video and I already have a story board in mind.

I really appreciate you considering this and I would like to point out that the final music promo will only be assessed by the OCR exam board.
